About Dr. Twilla, Dr. Simpson and our entire staff are proud to provide quality, compassionate veterinary care for your family's pets. Story We are confident that you and your pets will feel right at home in our office as we welcome all patients as if they were family. Sunshine Animal Hospital opened in Town & Country in January, 1980 at the corner of Waters and Hanley Roads. After expanding, and outgrowing our space we moved to our current location on Waters Ave (1/4 mile west of Hanley Road) in June, 1990. We saw Waters Avenue change from a quiet two lane to a bustling six lane road, and our practice grew as well. We currently employ two veterinarians and thirteen lay staff. We are here to help with any health issues your pets may have. We will see you today if you feel your pet needs immediate care. We look forward to seeing you soon!
