Story Sherrie Bates Ness opened Farmer's Daughter in 1985. Sherrie is the daughter of Walter and Sandra Bates the owners of Bates Nut Farm. She is the Farmer's Daughter. Some say it should be Sherrie's closet because she fills it with finds from all over. Some of her favorite clothing styles, jewelry and gifts for all occasions. Newly remodeled this year, Sherrie brought the barn, vintage style back and is having fun filling it with products from some of her favorite charities and products with a story to tell.
