Story Welcome to the official Facebook page for the Children's Ministry at The Journey Baptist Church in Palm Desert, CA. We have several ministries available to children ages 4-10 through out the week: Sundays: Sunday School: 9:00am - 10:00 am You will discover that our children's Sunday school classes offer a warm and energetic environment. Our teachers aim to provide an opportunity for every child to read God's word and experience God's love. Children's Church: 10:15am - 11:30am Sunday mornings, our children have an exciting service that's designed just for them! Through creative bible lessons as well as engaging games and crafts, we desire for every child to understand God's word. We hope for each child to take home and practice the scriptural truths they learned with us. Thursdays: AWANA Club: 6:30pm - 8:15pm AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed." AWANA helps children dive into learning God’s Word while promoting a fun and exciting atmosphere. Every club night, children participate in three segments that provide start to finish adventure!
