Story Beit Ahavah is a vibrant community of people from diverse spiritual backgrounds and religious experiences, celebrating in times of joy, offering support in times of need, and growing from the open exchange of ideas, study of Torah and Jewish expression. Rabbi Riqi Kosovske brings her passion, extensive experience, knowledge and commitment to building inclusive Jewish community, ritual, teaching, Israel, the arts, feminism, ecology and writing to her role as our Spiritual Leader and Jewish Educator. Rabbi Riqi has served our congregation since her ordination in 2007 from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles. She enriches our congregation with her vision, warmth and creativity. Being part of Beit Ahavah as a member or "chaver"/"chaverah" of Beit Ahavah means giving yourself the gift of holiday celebrations, Shabbat services, Jewish education, connection with our Rabbi for the milestones in your life, and a strong sense of community. Our Beit Ahavah Community School aims to instill a love of Judaism through a creative and innovative approach to Jewish learning.
