Story From Our Director: "I envision a school where all styles of music are taught, and where the students of different instruments, with their teacher’s direction, will get together and experience the joy of playing music together. I foresee classical piano students combining with violin students to play simple repertoire together, as well as rock guitar students uniting with bass and drum students to learn the rudiments of a rock band. I also envision bringing in professional musicians to give workshops and small concerts in all different styles. I’m excited at the prospect of contributing to the vitality and creativity of the Alameda community, and I sincerely hope that you’ll experience our school at some point in the near future."
