About Family owned and operated since 1968. Story Heather Campbell is the owner/operator of the Velvet Poodle. She purchased the business from her mother, Linda Campbell, and partner, Kathy Dillard in 1993. Heather sold the business to Gretchen Spitz in April 2012 but recently reacquired the shop. The Velvet Poodle sells healthy puppies and kittens from local respected breeders and offers professional grooming. Mission Our goal is to help our babies find their perfect forever homes.
