About Manchester View Fine Lodging Story Get away to The Manchester View in picturesque Manchester, Vermont. (Just 4 hours from NYC and 3 hours from Boston). This fine lodging property is the town's best AAA accommodation combining the best of a classic Vermont country inn, motel or even a small hotel, with large rooms and suites, beautiful views and a very convenient location just 1.5 miles from the center of town of Manchester. It sits high up on a peaceful hill off historic Route 7A, 2 miles south of the quaint village of Dorset in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont. Innkeepers Pat and Tom Barnett have been the owner/managers of The Manchester View since 1977. The lodge has held the prestigious Three Diamond Award from AAA for more than 30 years. It has been lauded in the "Discerning Traveler Newsletter" and featured in "Weekending in New England" and "The Yankee Traveler." What separates us from the rest?
