About Belvidere, a restored 1907 Victorian-era mansion on the National Registry of Historic Places, is open for self-guided tours, gift shopping, and special events. Story The Belvidere is the family home of entrepreneur John M. Bayless, one of the City of Claremore's most influential early residents. Owned and operated by the Rogers County Historical Society, the Belvidere Mansion and Gift Shop are open daily, Monday. through Sat., 11am to 2pm. The Belvidere is available to rent for special events as well, with downstairs dining rooms, outdoor veranda, and a third floor ballroom. The Gift Shop is now located on the second floor of the Mansion Mission The Rogers County Historical Society is a non-profit 501(c 3) volunteer-run organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, educating, and disseminating the rich and unique history of Rogers County. Belvidere is just one of the RCHS's historical treasures. Products The Gift Shop offers jewelry, women's attire, stationary, housewares, teapots, ornaments and souvenirs.
