About Kiteboarding Lessons, Rentals and Demos North, ION, Slingshot & Liquid Force Kites (SUP) Stand Up Paddleboarding Rentals Story South Padre Island Kiteboarding got its start in the spring of 2002. There were very few kiteboarders on the island back then so it was exciting to be a part of pioneering the incredible kiteboarding conditions of South Padre Island. Now in our 12th year, our love of kiteboarding has moved us through many epic adventures. Our customers and friends have been a driving force behind our progress and vision. Throughout our 12 year history, one thing has remained constant - we are kiteboarders at heart, drawing on influences and progression from around the world.
