About Thank you for visiting Hairoun Bakery's Facebook page. We are a family owned and operated business since 1987, specializing in freshly baked goods. Story Established in 1987, in the heart of Scarborough, among other businesses in a residential neighbourhood, located at Birchmount and Sheppard. Hairoun Bakery has solidified its standing as one of the popular Caribbean-Canadian bakeries in the GTA, with customers coming from as far as London Ontario and beyond to indulge in this home a away from home family owned and operated business. Monica aka "Nola" Smith, along with husband Eugene Smith, migrated to Canada, and married in Toronto Ontario, from St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the early 1960's. It is no coincidence that they both should join forces 27 years later to jump-start Hairoun Bakery.
