About The 'Original Shack' was purchased by the current owners in 1972. Located just yards from the Pacific Ocean it is where the whole thing started. Story Try the burger that made us famous-- the shack cheeseburger made with a big juicy ¼ lb beef patty covered with all the fixins and a grilled, spicy, Louisiana hot link (or portuguese sausage) with your choice of American, swiss, jalapeno, or cheddar cheese.
