About Our goal: to find all of our animals their forever home by sharing pics. We reserve the right to remove comments and people that interfere with that goal. Mission The mission of the Muscatine Humane Society is to educate the public of the importance and dire necessity to spay and neuter their animals to prevent the needless suffering that follows pet overpopulation. Concurrently the Society provides a safe haven for lost or abandoned animals until their owners or new homes can be obtained. Products Adoption fees: Prevously Altered dogs - $80.00 Unaltered Dogs $135-$150 depending on our costs for surgery. Altered cats - $65.00 (The adoption fee covers the entire spay or neuter surgery for non-altered animals.) All animals are vaccinated against contagious diseases, wormed, groomed and temperament tested prior to being offered for adoption. Pre-Adoption applications are required as we are dedicated to match pets with owners that will provide them with a happy home for the duration of their lives. *We reserve the right to deny anyone adoption of a pet.
