About Winner of Best Private School in Birmingham in 2011 and 2012, Alabama Waldorf School serves 18 months old - 8th Grade students using a curriculum that allows the gradual unfolding of each child in an atmosphere that values beauty, truth, and goodness. Story The only Waldorf School in Alabama, AWS serves more than 125 students in Morning Garden (Parent & Tot), Nursery, Kindergarten, and Grades (1-8) programs.
