Essentials of Our Faith: “In Essentials, Unity; In Non-Essentials, Liberty; In All Things, Charity.” We believe that the essential tenets of the Reformed Christian faith, as expressed in the Confessions of our church,* are authentic and reliable expositions of what Scripture leads us to believe and to do. What follows is a concise summary of what we, The First Presbyterian Church, Starkville, believe are the essential tenets of our faith as taught in Scripture and summarized in the Confessions.
