About One Church, Two Locations Story The Rock Worship Center Church of God in Christ is a member of the Church of God in Christ denomination, the largest Pentecostal group in America. The membership of the Church of God in Christ is estimated at nearly 6 million. Founded in November of 2004 by Pastor Frank & First Lady Kimberly Jacobs, The Rock Worship Center’s main sanctuary is located at 1113 Fordham Road in Charlotte, NC with service time of 12:30 and an early worship service at 4740 Randolph Rd beginning at 10:00 a.m. As The Rock prepares for a near future second location in the Southwest region of the city, Pastor Jacobs, a man that obeys and follows the word of God, has began to move forward and start the work in the city of Charlotte NOW! And while we will be operating from two locations, we will definitely still be ONE church.
