About www.yakimachurch.com Story The Yakima Alliance Church’s first official service was held on January 4, 1953 in a private home. The church soon began meeting at the YWCA and then moved to a home which the church purchased. The church then purchased a former Covenant Church. In 1981, the present property at 902 South 36th Avenue was purchased, then remodeled, and then enlarged to its present configuration.
