About North Scituate Baptist Church is an American Baptist Church (part of ABCORI/ABCUSA). It is located in the village of North Scituate, RI. Story North Scituate Baptist Church is an American Baptist Church (part of ABCORI & ABCUSA) For the first time in the history of our church, our pastors are a husband and wife team, Dr. Reppa and Dr. Dan. Reppa and Dan came to the North Scituate Baptist Church in July 1993. Dr. Reppa is our full time pastor. Dr. Dan is part-time here at NSBC and is the Chief Chaplin at the Veteran’s Medical Center in Providence, RI. Our many ministries include a prayer shawl ministry (where members of the church knit blankets to be given to those in need of prayer) and a video ministry (where our weekly services are taped and air on RI public access stations). We also volunteer time at soup kitchens and support local community organizations in need. We have bible study twice a week (Tuesday 7:15pm & Thursday 10am), a choir, a youth group for junior high and high school students (BYF), a Women's Fellowship group, and Sunday School for all ages. We are known for our May Breakfast each year (2014 is our 120th) complete with fantastic johnnycakes. Mission The purpose of this church shall be the advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. It shall seek to attain this goal by developing Christian fellowship for worship, for spiritual growth, for ministering to one another, and by witnessing and sharing Christian love to meet the spiritual, physical, and social needs in the local and world-wide community.
