About BBCS is a private, Christian school dedicated to producing spiritually and academically excellent students. Story Opening in August 1976, BBCS began with only 41 students. In the years to follow, the school continued to grow, increasing opportunities for students. Sport teams in volleyball, soccer, and basketball provided methods of infusing Christian character. In addition, music ensembles instilled a striving for excellence in performances and competitions. In March 2013, BBCS received accreditation, allowing families to receive financial assistance from the North Carolina School Opportunity Scholarship. Today BBCS continues to thrive with an excellent preschool, elementary, junior high, and high school. Mission Bible Baptist Christian School exists to reinforce Christian values from the Christian home to the Christian classroom through a warm spiritual atmosphere, quality academics, excellence in fine arts, and development of Christian character. Products BBCS offers a preschool as well as an accredited elementary and secondary education. BBCS offers a variety of athletic programs, including basketball, soccer, and volleyball. BBCS also offers fine art programs, including choirs, band, private lessons, music appreciation class, and art classes.
