About Stefanie Markey, DVM Jenny Luke, DVM Story Dr. Stefanie Thibodeaux Markey is a 2005 graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. From 2005-2010, she practiced veterinary medicine and provided emergency care in nearby Old Metairie. Dr. Stefanie is extremely excited to now be practicing in Mid-City, the “heart” of New Orleans. Dr. Stefanie lives in Mid-City with her husband, Ben, their daughters, dogs Lucy, Jack, and Oscar, and cats Cinderella, Baxter, Gus, and Pearl, guinea pigs Carmella and Carlita, and tortoise Zulu.
