About Full Service Hair and Nail Salon Story After Montgomery Ward closed all of its department stores in 2001, Hairstylist Management Systems, Inc., had to move all of its salons out of the stores and into free standing salons. Urban Hairstylists was born. We are a premium salon, managed by Linn Swope, who alone has over 40 years of experience in the cosmetology industry. We accept walk-ins and appointments.
