About West Side Tennis Club is located at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium. Story The West Side Tennis Club often surprises first time visitors. It is minutes from the bustle of midtown Manhattan on the E|F|M|R subway lines. The Long Island Railroad stops in Forest Hills regularly, and the Club is situated between NYC's two airports: LaGuardia and JFK International. In the midst of this fast-paced NYC life, the Club is an oasis of green velvet lawns and Tudor architecture located in Forest Hills Gardens. The historical Forest Hills Stadium is hosting a new series of musical performances at the Stadium, reviving a tradition that started in 1961 and continued through the 90’s. During that time The West Side Tennis Club hosted such popular performers as The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Diana Ross, Simon & Garfunkel and Bob Dylan to name a few. Mumford & Sons played Forest Hills in the summer of 2013. Stay tuned for upcoming concerts!
