About Critical Care Access Hospital Story Nemaha County Hospital (NCH) first opened its doors on Sunday, April 28, 1963, welcoming area residents and dignitaries not only into a new building filled with state-of-the-art technology, but into a new era of healthcare. NCH has always offered the promise of "Quality Care... Every Time" and they have kept their word through generations. Our Mission is to continuously advance healthcare in Nemaha County.
