About:
Mission The name "Maayon Yisroel," which means “wellsprings of Israel,” is indicative of our mission to enrich and inspire the Jewish people with the deep, mystical teachings of the Baal Shem Tov and other Chassidic masters. Rabbi Yisroel Baal Shem Tov, a 16th century Jewish mystic, was renowned for his unconditional love for the Jewish People, who worked to bring together Jews of all types to be inspired and nurtured in their appreciation of and relationship with G-d. Products Regularly Scheduled Classes: Morning Rays Sunday, 9:15am - 10:15am Rabbi Elchanan Tauber kicks off the week off in a joyful way with the teachings of the Chassidic master Rabbi Nachman of Breslev, great-grandson of the Baal Shem Tov. The Parsha in My Life Monday, 8pm - 9pm This class weaves mystical and Chassidic interpretation of the weekly Torah reading into lessons for daily living. Taught by Rabbi Wolf, it is the center's most popular lecture series, appealing to a broad range of students, from beginning to advanced. It is also distributed around the world by MP3 and video, via the Internet, and throughout the local community via CD. The Thursday night Shiur Thursday, 8:30pm - 12am For the advanced students of Kabbalah and Chassidic thought, Rabbi Wolf hosts a weekly and intensive, late night journey into the profound mystical secrets of the Torah. Often teaching for over four hours, Rabbi Wolf draws from inside the Chassidic texts, making these esoteric works accessible in English for the first time. The Inner Dimension Shabbos, 8:30am - 9:30am An hour of study before the Sabbath morning services, meant to supercharge prayer with a jolt of Chasidic inspiration, delivered weekly by Rabbi Wolf. Majestic Moments Shabbos, Summers, 2 Hours before sunset The final hours of Shabbos provide the setting to delve into the deepest existential mysteries of the Torah, delivered weekly by Rabbi Wolf
