About Buckelew promotes homes, jobs, health and hope. http://www.buckelew.org Story Buckelew strengthens communities in California's North Bay by helping people with mental health and substance use challenges to lead more sustainable lives. Buckelew Programs is a non-profit agency providing a variety of community-based mental health services to children, families and adults, including Family Service Agency’s childhood trauma services, Suicide Prevention and Community Counseling, family crisis counseling, the Helen Vine Detox Center and Buckelew Programs affordable housing, employment assistance and individualized, person-centered, holistic services that promote wellness and recovery for adults with serious mental illness. We provide supported housing, supported employment, and behavioral health services that promote wellness and recovery from mental illness. We're also a social enterprise developer and owner of Blue Skies Cafe, Blue Skies Personnel Services, Blue Skies Cleaning Service, and People's Harvest. The purpose of our programs is to help people with mental health and substance use disorders to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Mission Buckelew Programs’ mission is to enhance the quality of life of individuals and families in our community by providing mental, emotional, behavioral health and addiction services that promote recovery, resilience, and hope.
