About Southern Comfort Food with a healthy twist! Story In 2002, Fresh Market Cafe opened it's doors with a simple idea: To provide Southern Comfort Food with a healthy twist. Our vegetables are fresh or fresh-frozen and we cook our vegetables with chicken stock, ham base, and an in-house bacon and onion mix. We never use MSG or artificial flavorings. It is much more expensive and time consuming to prepare our food this way, but the results are in the taste. Our entrees and homemade desserts remind you of simpler times and home-cooked meals at Grandma's. Taste the difference yourself!
