About This is a Nevada State Historic Park. Story This park offers a visitor center, campground, group use area, picnic area, access to the Carson River, hiking and equestrian trails, group camping, and tours through Buckland Station--a beautifully rennovated historic building. Buckland Station is now open for tours! Contact the park for more information! We provide living history programs for school field trips, scout groups and any other educational group. These talks include the area's history, the park's history, discussion about weapons used at the time and a cannon firing. Call anytime to schedule a tour! This park also has a geocache!
