About About the Stoughton Public Library... MISSION STATEMENT It is the mission of the Stoughton Public Library to educate, enrich and empower our community. Items may be renewed twice. Items that other patrons are waiting for may not be renewed. Fines: Late fees on children’s materials are 10¢ per day, adult and teen materials are 20¢ per day and Lucky Day materials are $1.00 per day. For your convenience, a book drop located on the side of the library nearest the parking lot is available 24 hours a day.
