About Lucky Finds is a Thrift and Gift Shop that benefits Chehalem Youth and Family Services. Story Lucky Finds is a Thrift & Gift Shop located in Newberg, OR with a mission to help youth and local families! We specialize in stylish clothing, accessories, housewares, decor, books, toys & more! Lucky Finds benefits local nonprofit, Chehalem Youth & Family Services. It is a true local cause and your shopping and donations make a huge difference. Lucky Finds also serves as a vocational training site for youth. A great place to shop, donate your gently used goods, and to volunteer! Stop by today! Please think of use when you have donations, as your donations benefit a local nonprofit. As a nonprofit all of your donations are tax deductible! We will pretty much taken anything, as long as they aren't damaged. Please call in advance if you have large items, such as furniture, to donate. Donations can be dropped off anytime during our store hours. Sorry, no pickups! Lucky Finds offers lots of different opportunities for volunteers! Volunteering is a great way to enrich your life, have fun and form new relationships. Some of the opportunities we have are: * Customer Service Representative: Includes working with customers, sorting donations, and other. * Youth Mentor/CSR: Includes working in the thrift shop alongside a youth intern who is there to gain job experience and training. Those who want to work with youth will get a chance to train and help this youth grow into an excellent employee with valuable skills. * Marketing: Works to increase customers, donations and volunteers!
