About We buy and sell comics! Largest selection of back issues in the Salt Lake valley plus exclusive Phantom and store variants, local books, and so much more. We buy comics on weekdays, please call (801) 461-4228 for details before coming down to sell! Story Greg Gage of Black Cat Comics was bitten by a radioactive comic book at the age of 4. Since then, he has bled four colors, and pitched such novelties as x-ray specs and Grit magazine. He likes to shout his evil master plan, continuously on a monologue, and slips into a passionate soliloquy when the store is empty and there is no one to listen. No matter what he tries to convince you of the following: he can’t fly, read very well, or know what you’re thinking (some what true, so two out of three ain't bad..ha..ha) He reads way too many comic books and is terrified of Alan Moore because he was once caught in his beard for no less than three days. But Promethea still rocks. He loves horror comics of any kind, especially if zombies are involved, X-Men, Batman, Vertigo books, and tons of indie comics. Oh, and Spider-Man. He likes Spider-Man. A lot… We're a proud Valkyrie store as represented by Taylor Hoffman. Comics are for everybody!
