About A Great Place to Grow Up! Story Parkview Christian School offers Kindergarten - 8th grade and was established as a covenant Christian School in 1992. We function as a ministry of Parkview Church (Presbyterian Church in America) and we are happy to be a Child Light School (www.childlightusa.org). Mission We are a covenant community which exists as an extension of the home to develop lifelong learners in a Christ-centered atmosphere as they mature in their love for God and others, seek excellence in character, and pursue all of God's truth. PCS follows closely the educational philosophy of Charlotte Mason, who encouraged an education which is aimed at the heart of each child by fostering a safe environment for learning, the discipline of habit, and the presentation of living ideas in each lesson.
