About We specialize in specialty roofs such as historic slate and tile roofs as well as commercial roofing in the St. Louis metro area. Story Our story began when Patrick McNichols and Brian Benson, friends since their days at Parkway South High, saw a need n the St. Louis market place for a well-run storm restoration roofing company. Prior to establishing Innovative in 2008, the two spent years learning all aspects of the roofing industry from the ground up, including replacing hundreds of roofs in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. Today, projects span from simple roof repairs to large scale natural disaster roof restoration projects to designing and installing architecturally significant roofs in some of St. Louis’ finest historic neighborhoods Mission Our mission is simple - building roofs right the first time!
