About We provide coordination and support in time of need during a disaster incident or situation and ensure the safety and welfare of our citizens Story The intent of the Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency is to provide coordination and support in the time of need during a disaster incident or situation and to see that all the available support and resources are secured for the safety and welfare of the communities and citizens of Muskingum County. The Agency supports the needs of the emergency service departments and personnel to the extent of training, education, material items and financial support when appropriate. Finally, the Agency communicates with all local, state and federal agencies that may be utilized in the scope of duties performed by this agency when logistics and financial services are required for our county in a disaster or large-scale incident situation.
