Story Daystar Cleaning & Restoration is family owned and operated, dedicated to delivering valued and quality services, empowering consumers with education, building client relationships with integrity, and providing cutting-edge technology and products for clients who demand an outstanding service experience. Steve and Judy Ransom launched Daystar Janitorial Services in Birmingham, AL in 1983. After vacationing on the beautiful white sands of Panama City Beach, they decided to sell their business, moved to the emerald coast, and started Daystar Cleaning, Inc. in 1986. All their children grew up working in the business, and Matthew now manages Restoration Services. Steve and Judy have participated in many business education, management, and certification programs, and believe in empowering their employees with education, customer service training, safety training, and certifications to deliver the kind of exceptional service Daystar clients have come to expect. Daystar Cleaning, Inc. is a certified firm of the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), as recommended by nationally syndicated radio personality Clark Howard. Steve Ransom is a state certified Mold Remediator, and holds IICRC certifications including Master Fire Restorer, Water Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying, Commercial Drying, Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, and Odor Removal.
