About One World Shop is a non-profit shop offering unique, hand crafted Fair Trade gifts, accessories, apparel and home decor items from all around the world! Story Since 1979 when it was founded by people of Lakewood Presbyterian Church, One World Shop has been a non-profit dedicated to Fair Trade. Fair Trade ensures opportunities exist for impoverished artisans across the world to sell their hand crafted items at fair prices, to work in safe conditions, and to lift themselves and their communities out of poverty. One World Shop provides local customers the chance to learn about world cultures and artistic expression, and provide support through their purchase of unique items.
