About Offering fine German and American baked goods. Allergen Warning: Our baked goods are made in a facility that produces peanut and tree nut products. Story The Pastry Parlor is owned and operated by German-born Iris Hammer. It became a licensed bakery and officially opened for business in July of 2014 in the converted parlor of Iris' home. If you stop by or call the bakery, you will most likely speak with Heike Craig, The Pastry Parlor's Office Manager and Iris' sister. The Pastry Parlor specializes in European pastries such as Apple Strudel, Black Forrest Cake and cannolis, however, it also offers traditional cupcakes and sheet cakes. Most items are made to order for pick up or delivery, but a few of the more popular items are kept on hand for first come-first serve purchase. The Pastry Parlor is a proud member of The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce.
