About Discover endangered sea turtles, octopi, birds of prey, reptiles and more! We are a nonprofit zoo-quarium located on San Diego Bay. Story We are a nonprofit zoo and aquarium located on a National Wildlife Refuge on San Diego Bay. Open daily 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Adults (13+) $16 Kids (3-12) $11 Kids 2 and under are free. Take the E St. exit off I-5 in Chula Vista and head west. Park in the complimentary parking lot at the corner of Bay Blvd. and E St. Our complimentary shuttle runs on a 15 minute loop and will drive you through Sweetwater Marsh National Wildlife Refuge and drop you right at our front doors on San Diego Bay! Mission Our Mission: The Living Coast Discovery Center inspires care and exploration of the living Earth by connecting people with coastal animals, plants and habitats.
