About The Sutter Performing Arts Assn is a 501c3, non-profit dedicated to the preservation & development of the Sutter Theater on Plumas St in Yuba City, CA into a renovated, multi-use, 299 seat Performing Arts Venue and Community Center Mission "The Sutter Performing Arts Theater is committed to the development and promotion of quality performing, cinematic and visual arts that enhance the cultural life of the Bi-County Community." To that end, we are working to renovate the Sutter Theater on Plumas Street in Yuba City. Our goal is to create a State-of-the-Art Performing Arts Theater and Community space for the benefit of all the citizens of Yuba and Sutter Counties and the surrounding areas.
