About Massimo's at La Tavola Ristorante Italiano Story Executive Chef and Owner Massimo Esposito developed his passion for cooking in his Mother's kitchen. Massimo is a Certified Chef from the Culinary School of Naples, Italy where he was born and raised. He built his expertise working under Executive Chef's in both Italy and Germany before coming to the United States to add to his knowledge of food. La Tavola will bring to Smyrna and to Middle Tennessee the flavors of his native country, Italy, at very affordable prices without sacrificing taste and service.
