About Our bakery is located at 17 N. Harrison St, next to City Market, in Cortez, CO. Story The Pie Maker is a small batch bakery, locally owned and operated since 2012 in Montezuma County, Colorado. We specialize in extraordinary sweet & savory pastries, desserts, and artisan bagels. All of our baked goods are handmade from scratch using high quality ingredients that regularly feature local, seasonal, and organic foods. We hand-shape our dough and use only organic butter in all of our pastry treats. The bread flour we bake with is organic and unbleached, and our all purpose unbleached flour is purchased right here in Montezuma County from Cortez Milling.
