About Located on the south end of campus and home to state of the art exercise equipment, a six-lane pool and spa, group fitness classes and a climbing wall! Story Home to WWU's Campus Recreation department, the Wade King Student Recreation Center features a three-court gym, two cardio exercise areas with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a weight room, a six-lane pool and hot tub, two group fitness studios, a 30-foot climbing wall and 12-foot bouldering wall, and an indoor running track. Mission WWU Campus Recreation Services strives to empower the Western community to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle, and develop leadership abilities by providing the highest quality of recreational and co-curricular programs and services in an environmentally sustainable facility.
