About The Equine Center is located on the beautiful Central Coast of California! We offer a variety of services, from basic health care to emergency and 24 hour sick care. We are equipped with ambulatory units as well as a full surgery and rehab center. Story Our hospital is prepared and equipped to service any equine medical need. Whether it be emergency, diagnostic, neonatal, preventative, rehabilitative or reproductive care, we are available to meet your horse’s needs. Our facility includes a full surgical suite, recovery room, intensive care stalls, breeding shed with a reproduction lab, nuclear scintigraphy suite, and a high speed treadmill. The Equine Center also provides on-site farm call (ambulatory) service, making us uniquely equipped to serve all of your horses’ needs. For basic health care we offer specific vaccine protocols, deworming programs and nutritional advice for the individual horse or large farm. For emergencies, there is always a veterinarian on call for TEC Established Clients; 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 805-541-6367
