About We meet Every Thursday at 7:00pm to 8:30pm. We work with Jr. High and High School kids. Story General Information Life Hurts God Heals (LHGH) is a class specifically for students middle school through high school age who have experienced or are experiencing ANY form of unresolved pain or hurt. These could include insecurity, fears, anxiety, alcohol, drugs, abuse, guilt, sex, loss, depression, perfectionism, anger cutting, poor body image, pornography, eating disorders, low self worth, lying hurtful relationships, troubled family dynamics and much more. The class utilizes the 8 steps found in the Beatitudes of the Bible. Let's face it, sometimes LIFE HURTS and we get caught up in habits that are hard to break. If you are or friend are dealing with current or past pain (who isn't) then LHGH is for you. Hundreds of students have gone through this class and many lives have been changed. All you have to do is take the first step and show up. This is a safe place to recover from your hurts, habits and hang-ups. Mission Our mission is to give Tehachapi youth a safe place and life long tools to recover from their pain. We also want them to know that there is hope for them and people who care.
