About Nondenominational church Story New Life Bible Church was organized in October 1989 by Brother Curtis Jenkins after moving back from Atlanta with his wife Katherine and four daughters, Vanessa, Natasha, Alma, and Cheryl. Our goals from the very start were to win lost souls and teach them the word of God . We rented for two years and then purchased the land and building at 1244 North Lee Street. we remained there until May 2009. It was at that time we were made a very generous gift of the property at 1603 North Forrest Street. With this blessing we have changed locations, but our mission statement remains the same. Win the lost, teach the saints and expand according to the Bible Mission Our goal is to win lost souls and teach them the word of God.
