About Specialty Cycling and Running store Story High Gear Sports has been a staple in the cycling community since 1984. Located just off the Little Traverse Wheelway. High Gear Sports has a massive showroom of bikes and running shoes. Our expertly trained staff we can answer any and all bike questions. With a combined service experience of over 50 years your service can address all your current or classic bike issues. We moved into running in 2006 because our passion led us to it. Many bikers are runner and runner are bikers. We do full gait analysis to see what type of shoe structure fits your stride. Over the years we have found that everyone is a little different and we carry from minimal to motion control shoes. Stop by, step on the treadmill and let us see if the shoe fits.
