About Maid-Rite has been in Cedar Falls IA since 1947 at the same location 116 E 4th St. It has been in my wife's family since her mother "Moe" bought the franchise in 1974. Penne & I bought the franchise in 1980. Story Original Maid-Rite sandwiches, homemade soups and pies! This is an old lunch counter from the 1940's, clean and fun!
