About Comming Soon to our Campground: Dog Park Story Although it's located within the city limits of historical Burkburnett, you'll feel as if you're out in the country at this KOA less than a mile from the Red River. The RV sites are big rig friendly and most are shaded. You can pitch a tent (some sites have water and / or electricity) or stay in a Cabin. The campground features a saltwater swimming pool with a children's waterslide, a new playground and a recreation hall. Families will enjoy the many planned activities! The weekend before Labor Day is the annual Hotter ‘N Hell Hundred, when the 100-mile cyclists ride past the campground! Try your luck at nearby casinos (2 miles) in Oklahoma. In Wichita Falls, you can arrange a tour of Sheppard Air Force Base or take the family on a cooling adventure at Castaway Cove Waterpark, with its zooming waterslides, lazy river and more. Plan a day trip to the Dallas-Fort Worth area or Oklahoma City (2+ hours) for museums, dining and shopping galore.
