Story As the opportunity arose, Greg Gordon, an experienced jeweler and Gemologist from Conroe, Texas gained ownership of Douglas Jewelers after the retirement of Ronnie and Sandy Arrington, the daughter and her husband of the original John Douglas. In his eyes, Douglas Jewelers is a piece of precious history to Aggieland that he could not let die. Gordon has been in the jewelry business since 1990 and has had a part in over 7,000 family-owned jewelry stores. Gordon and his wife, Lisa, are overjoyed at the thought of carrying on a 48-year-old tradition with the re-opening of Douglas Jewelers.
