About See description... Story We are members of Christ's body (Col. 1:18, 24) trying to follow after the teachings of Jesus Christ and His apostles (Jn. 16:7-15; I Cor. 14:37). The Bible is the inspired Word of God (II Tim. 3:16-17), reading, studying and obeying it is the only way to get to Heaven (Acts 20:32; Ja. 1:22-25). We worship God "In spirit and truth" (Jn. 4:24) by... Studying and preaching God's word (Acts 17:10-11; II Tim. 2:15; Acts 2:42) ... Offering prayers to God (I Thess. 5:16-17; Acts 2:42) ... Singing to God with our hearts (Col. 3:16; Eph. 5:18-19) ... Partaking of the Lord's Supper every first day of the week (Acts 2:42, 20:7; I Cor. 11:23-26) ...Giving back to the Lord what we have prospered (every first day of the week) (I Cor. 16:1-2; II Cor. 9:6-8). We teach the lost what the New Testament teaches that all alienated sinners need to HEAR the gospel (Rom. 10:17); BELIEVE the gospel (Mk. 16:16); REPENT of their sins (Acts 17:30); CONFESS JESUS AS LORD (Rom. 10:9-10); be immersed (Baptized in water) for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38, 22:16); live faithful to the Lord until death or the Lord's return (I Cor. 15:58; Col. 1:23).
