About BCM is a non-profit organization that offers classes in media (including Studio Production, Non-Linear Editing, and Field Camera). We also broadcast cable Channels 28 & 33 for the city of Berkeley. So don't just watch TV, make TV! Story Mission The objective of Berkeley Community Media (BCM) is to strengthen our community through increasing and enhancing communication among its residents. BCM exists to provide Berkeley residents and organizations with the tools and training needed to effectively communicate with one another through the use of television and other electronic media. These resources provide community members with a non-commercial forum for ideas, opinions, information and creative expression originating at the grassroots level. Products Workshops in: Basic Editing using Final Cut Pro, Studio Production in our Express and Large TV studio, Field Camera (learn how to work with 3 chip cameras), Interviewing Techniques, Studio Directing, and Studio Lighting.
