About Wickersham Jewelry has been family owned and operated since 1959 For hours and more information please visit our website www.wickershamjewelry.com Story Wickersham Jewelry was established in 1959 in an 800 square ft. store in Abbotsford, Wisconsin. Glen Wickersham borrowed about $2,000 from the family of his wife, Audrey, to start his business. It contained 5 engagement rings, some clocks, and costume jewelry. He built the business the old fashion way—good deals, and a good reputation through excellent customer service. One of the four children Rob Wickersham started as a goldsmith in 1975. With one store started another one opened in 1979 in Marshfield, Wisconsin daughter Deb Borgemoen/Wickersham joined managing the bookkeeping and other duties while brother Gary Wickersham started as another Goldsmith in the family. They opened the third store in Neillsville, Wisconsin in 1986 but decided that Wausau had a larger market for jewelry, and eventually closed the Neillsville store and moved the location to Wausau in 1993 which is when the forth child Jeff Wickersham joined to help run the family business. Today the Wickersham’s have 3 locations in Marshfield, Wausau, and Rhinelander.
